Established in 1965 with the purposes of adding to the “sociability and beautification of the Lower Keys”, the Lower Keys Women’s Club is primarily concerned with organizing social events and fundraising activities for charities. For local women, or those who spend a good portion of the year in the Lower keys, this is a great way to give back to the community while engaging in fun social events organized to occur throughout the year.
One of our own agents, Karen Chesley (click here to visit her agent’s page: http://www.keyislerealty.com/agents/16589-Karen-Chesley/), is currently the assistant treasurer for the group and has been a member of the group for 3 years now. She has enjoyed the time she has spent with the club and loves how easy her membership allows her to help out her fellow Floridians.
Attached is a flyer for their upcoming luncheon which will start at noon on September 12 at Lazy Days on Marathon (MM 47.3). This provides a great example of the sort of events that they organize if you are curious about joining.
